Dakar Audio Club play the music you would hear in any bush Taxi trip in West Africa! Taking the warm roots of Malian blues, uplifting Congolese soukouss, Ghanaian highlife, Reggae and a sprinkling of Afrobeat with Wolof, Bambara and English lyrics, duelling guitars, djembe and horns. Formed in mid 2011, the band had an outstanding response to their early live shows and were soon called upon to support reggae legends Misty In Roots at their Exeter Phoenix gig.
