The Will Gompertz Fringe
Imagine Latitude, Hay, Glastonbury and Edinburgh Fringe boiled down into one intense and intoxicating 90-minute event. An event with music, comedy, performance and stories.
Each with its own stage dotted about the ICA’s legendary theatre space, pulling you – the excited audience – from one side to the other in a series of ‘once in a lifetime’ performances given by grandees established and aspiring from the world’s of art, music, comedy, literature, film and theatre. Speakers include Festival of the Spoken Nerd, Mat Collishaw, David Batchelor and Johnny Woo among others.
Two things hold this extraordinary, intoxicating miscellany together: the BBC’s Arts Editor Will Gompertz as the evening’s host, provocateur and inquisitor; and a theme that all those involved will explore through their own experiences and art forms. Three shows, three themes: Icons, Money, Colour.
So, Roll up! Roll Up! for The Will Gompertz Fringe – the purest, most distilled event in the world. Drinks and food available throughout.
