Wings And Wheels

The historic setting for one of the UK's most popular family days out, 'Wings And Wheels', is returning to Dunsfold Aerodrome on 24th and 25th August 2013, showcasing some of the airfield's iconic aviation and motoring history.

Visitors to the Aerodrome will be treated to an awe inspiring 5 hours of air displays including such favourites as The Red Arrows, BBMF and the Avro Vulcan all of which are accompanied by witty and knowledgeable commentary from aviation experts and display pilots.

The 'Wheels' is a heady mix of thrilling stunts and an adrenaline pumping 2 hour motoring demonstration which blasts down the main runway on to the Top Gear track and includes an eclectic mix of modern day supercars to classic and vintage favourites. In the Stunt Zone world record j-turns, fast action parallel parking, pirouettes and two wheel driving are just some of the outstanding motoring action running every hour.

The show Arena is 32 acres packed with something to do for all the family. Highlights include the 1940s Zone with Jive master classes every hour, re-enactment groups and authentic shopping. The Arena also includes visitor favourites; aviation and motoring simulators, children's inflatable's, a fairground, interactive car shows and over 80 retail stalls.
