Measure For Measure

The second year extended diploma students present Shakespeare's dark comedy that challenges society's view of mercy, justice, and truth and their relationship to pride and humility: "Some rise by sin, and some by virtue fall". Claudio, under threat of execution, begs his sister Isabella to plead for mercy from the stern judge, Angelo. Unfortunately for Isabella her beauty attracts his unwanted advances in return for her brother's life. Is the loss of her virtue a price she will have to pay?
