Lakeside World Darts Championships 2013

Taking place at Lakeside Country Club, Frimley Green, Surrey - one of the countries leading entertainment complexes and the undisputed home of World Darts - the World Professional Darts Championships have been staged and promoted by the British Darts Organisation since 1978 and Lakeside Country Club (established in 1972) has been the host venue since 1986, and the main title sponsor since 2004.

Players from over 30 countries are currently competing for the right to be in the final field of 32 men and eight women in the BBC televised championships in January 2013. The line-up is expected to be finalised in November 2012.

The annual championships attract of a live audience of millions of television viewers in Britain, Europe and around the globed who watched it via BBC TV Sport and its world partners.
