Mozart Flute Concerto: Manchester Camerata
Manchester Camerata's principal flautist, Kevin Gowland performs Mozart's much loved Flute Concerto no.1 Two British string masterpieces also feature, Vaughan Williams' folk-immersed Five Variants for Strings and Harp and Elgar's beautifully melodic Chanson de Matin et de Nuit. Haydn's Symphony no.101, known famously as The Clock after the ticking rhythm in the slow movement, completes the programme.
