Anthony Hope’s swashbuckling Victorian adventure story is inventively captured in this entertaining new adaptation by the team who brought you ‘The Riddle of the Sands’ and ‘Running for Glory’.
It’s 1956 and the movies have finally reached Tollinghurst Village Hall. An excited audience awaits a showing of ‘The Prisoner of Zenda’ but can Malcolm Storey’s second hand projector really bring Hollywood to Tollinghurst?
