Using the extensive archaeology collections from the Herbert, you will have the opportunity to get hands on and investigate a range of objects such as pottery and small finds including dress accessories. Students will be able to learn to identify finds, date them, work out how they were used or made, record, research them and much more.
Suitable for:
Beginners and those with some excavation experience.
Each day will include a one hour lunch break.
Paul Thompson
An adult learning tutor with over five years' experience. Paul has worked in Britain as an archaeologist all the way throughout career, mostly in Coventry and Northamptonshire.
