Congleton Amateur Youth Theatre

'Alice’ is loosely based on the famous ‘Alice in Wonderland’ stories by Lewis Carroll and is one of the most famous and enduring children’s classics.

This adaptation portrays the plucky Alice accidentally finding her way into a bewildering plot as she catches sight of a white figure, a rabbit dressed in a waistcoat and holding a pocket watch, murmuring to himself that he is late.

After much frustration and intriguing encounters with such popular characters as Tweedledum and Tweedledee she gains entry to
Wonderland itself, where her adventures include taking tea with the Mad Hatter and playing croquet with the volatile Queen.
