The Joy Of Colour: Genevieve Walshaw

Genevieve specialises in studies of children within bright and vibrant seaside settings using oil, watercolour, acrylic and mixed media. She will also be displaying seascapes from Christchurch and Highcliffe.

Some of Genevieve’s work uses just five or even three colours, using restricted palette techniques, which give some stunning seaside silhouettes. There are also some duo-tonal works including ballerinas painted in silver or gold on deep jewel colours backgrounds.

Genevieve will have over 40 examples of her work in her exhibition and new for this year will be her use of modelling clay and embellishments within her painted canvas pictures.
