Joe Atkinson, Jesse Budd, Mike Chitty and Tom Granville are the talented men who make up the eclectic, curious, extraordinary, mystique band of Flipron. There are no other bands that can match their uniqueness. Flipron's music is a madcap mix of slide guitar blues, lap steal Hawaiian, '40s and '50s Hammond organ, clarinet, banjo, 1930's French accordion and ukulele. Here's a band whose music is almost impossible to categorise – it's a right old melting pot of styles, sounds and influences. Reminiscent of the Tiger Lillies, the Coral, The Thrills and the best sixties acid trips. Wowser!
