Carlisle Musical Society, Carlisle Community Choir, Cantonnelles, Dalston Male Voice Choir

This gala performance is to commemorate the 100 year anniversary of World War One.

They are joined by three wonderful well-known local societies; Carlisle Community Choir, Cantonnelles & Dalston Male Voice Choir. Each group will perform their own tribute as well as joining forces with Carlisle Musical Society for a massed choir performance of 'Climb every mountain' at the end of the first half.

The concert will also feature the 1st Battalion Duke of Lancaster's Regiment drums platoon who will delight the audience with their drumming skills and the outstanding Band of The Kings Division.

Be transported back in time to the early 1900s and join in the rip roaring medleys of old time favourites such as 'Pack Up Your Troubles In Your Old Kit Bag’, ‘Tipperary’ and ‘Goodbyee’.

The finale will give you the opportunity to wave your flags as together we all pay tribute with 'Rule Britannia' and 'Land of Hope and Glory'.
