Mingusology

Mingusology is a powerful 8-piece band based in Cambridge, dedicated to playing the music of Charles Mingus, the explosive bass player, bandleader and composer. A challenging and innovative presence, he surrounded himself with great musicians and produced a large number of outstanding albums, mostly featuring his own distinctive tunes.
