Luka Bloom is one of Ireland's best respected contemporary folk artists having enjoyed more than twenty years of success across the world. Breakthrough record The Acoustic Motorbike featured the hit cover of L.L.Cool J'sI Need Love to which Rolling Stone said "the prospect of a folksy Irish rocker covering a rap ballad may seem strange, but experimenting with different forms is precisely what keeps established traditions vital."

Luka comes to The Met performing many of his well-loved songs and selections from his new album Head & Heart.
