Well known in the folk world for their appearances with The Unthanks, for this special Homegrown concert Brighouse and Rastrick Band will perform brass arrangements of well known folk tunes and a selection of rousing brass band favourites as well as a very special collaboration with one of folk's finest voices - Lucy Ward.

24-year-old Lucy Ward won the Horizon Award for Best Newcomer at the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards in 2012. Since then she has established herself as one of the hottest performers on the UK folk scene, pulling a full capacity audience for her Cambridge Folk Festival debut. In 2014 Lucy was nominated for Folk Singer of the Year, becoming one of the youngest people ever to be nominated for the award. "Britfolk's most vibrant and forthright new young talent"Mojo

Part of Homegrown, The Met's festival of English folk music.
