BROMSGROVE CONCERTS & THE HOUSMAN SOCIETY present A SHROPSHIRE LAD in Poem, Song and Picture with James Rutherford: baritone and & Simon Lepper: piano A complete performance of Housman's 'A Shropshire Lad' with James
Rutherford's own choices from the host of settings by Bax, Moeran, Ireland and Orr which have been made of many of the poems, interspersed with readings of those poems for which no settings exist. This will be enhanced by the projection of photographs by Gareth Thomas, originally produced for an illustrated edition of the poems.
