After The Hurricane: The Life Of Alex Higgins
An evening unravelling the mystery of Snooker genius, Alex Higgins.
CineMe are joined by author and journalist Tony Francis, who wrote the book 'Who Was Hurricane Higgins.'
Tony Francis was an ITV Snooker presenter when he first met Alex Higgins. Between them, they produced Alex's biography, 'Alex Through the Looking Glass' in 1986.
Tony will be discussing his relationship with Higgins, his experiences writing his biography and the recent book, whilst also meeting and interviewing Alex's ex-wife Lynn, his daughter Lauren and fellow Snooker players such as Ken Doherty, Dennis Taylor, Steve Davis and close friend, Jimmy White.
The evening will also include:-
Vintage archive clips from various Snooker tournaments and documentary material on Alex Hurricane Higgins.
A question/answer session with Tony Francis.
Plus, copies of the book 'Who Was Hurricane Higgins' will be on sale with a signing session after the talk.
