Richard II Live Tour : The Hip Hop Shakespeare Company + Akala + Bashy + Lady Leshurr + Josh Osho
This show was rescheduled from 10th June.
The Hip-hop Shakespeare Company is a music theatre production company founded by MOBO-award winning hip-hop artist Kingslee “Akala” Daley. Based in London, THSC offers young people a different view of the arts and ultimately themselves. Through their education programmes, live music events and music theatre productions they engage young people, particularly those who are considered “hard to reach” and push them toward artistic excellence. By bridging music, theatre and performing arts in non-conventional venues they also strive to alter the perceptions of audiences of all ages, creating the ultimate entertainment experience via literature and the arts across the UK and beyond.
The Hip Hop Shakespeare Company tour dates
Taking hiphop back from the corporate world, Kingslee 'Akala' Daley wages war on the mediocre rap industry with his diverse combination of influences including trance, folk, punk and soul. His debut album 'It's Not A Rumour' released on Illa State Records pushes rap into unfamiliar territory as it is fused with distorted guitars and thunderous drums.

Lady Leshurr tour dates
Dubbed 'the UK's answer to John Legend', South Londoner Josh Osho is a naturally gifted singer-songwriter with a life-story packed full of the stuff that films are made of. Born to a half Northern Irish, half Nigerian mother and Nigerian father, Josh Osho has had the life experience of a person twice his age. Following an unconventional and often tempestuous childhood, Josh went from being in and out of home at the age of 16 and dealing drugs from notorious half-way house Ebenezer hotel at 17, to signing a deal with Island Records at 18, finding himself recording in a studio with two members Wu Tang Clan at 19, and releasing his debut album 'L.I.F.E.' at 20.
