Never miss another 'Shonen Knife' show
Shonen Knife
All-girl Japanese 3-piece punk-pop band, with catchy tunes coming on like a female Buzzcocks or Ramones. They were championed by the late Kurt Cobain and were personally chosen by Simpsons creator Matt Groening to play 2010's All Tomorrow's Parties festival in Minehead. After recently celebrating their 30th anniversary, 2012 sees the release of their 18th album 'Pop Tune'. "This is the most exciting pop-punk album that has come out in a LONG time, not only by Shonen Knife, but by anyone" - Marty Friedman, Megadeath.

September Girls
Taking their name from a Big Star and Bangles song, September Girls are a five piece girl group from Dublin, playing fuzzy and reverb-soaked garage pop with heaps of harmonies. Think the Raveonettes meets the Shangri-Las. Double AA 7-inch single 'Green Eyed'/'Danny Wood' released October 2012.

Smallgang
Sounding something like Johnny Cash fronting Sonic Youth or Smog's Bill Callahan holding his own in front of Dinosaur Jr. Equally passionate about rock's rich tapestry as they are 20th century literature, their songs nod to the influence of bands like Television, The Smiths, Pavement and Wilco whilst the lyrical themes of ambiguity and the strangeness of everyday life evoke the writing of Raymond Carver, Charles Burns or Richard Yates. This power trio is fronted by half-Japanese siblings Simon and Toshi Kobayashi, joined by Matt Atkins on drums.
