Stressechoes
'Stressechoes songs are a triumph of heart-on-sleeve storytelling, supporting by beautiful understated music' - BBC Gloucestershire. Alex and Andy started performing together in mid-2008, quickly knocking together a few of their own songs. Steve bought a bass guitar and joined in 2009. They were introduced to Ben in 2010 and, together, they have established themselves as the go-to band in Cheltenham for acoustic, harmony filled, angst-folk. They have recently collaborated with local talent-filled singer/songwriter, Juey, and released their first album in June 2012.

The Minke Whales
The Minke Whales are a five-piece based in Bristol. Wrapped up in sweet melodies, dark lyrics and so much banjo laden stomping stompingness that when live and loud they seem to have recklessly formed the habit of encouraging even the most wizened gig scrooge to throw caution and beer to the wind and behave like they were at a village hoedown.

Juey
Brought up on a musical diet of 50s and 60s rock and roll combined with country, bluegrass and cajun, then perhaps it was inevitable that a love for singing and playing music (although a tormented flute teacher may disagree) has created a live performance described by others as "one of those moments when I get goosebumps" (Paul Moss, BBC Introducing).juey is a guitar, banjo, mandolin and harmonica wielding musician.
