Taverner To Taverner
The Tallis Scholars enjoyed a long creative association with composer John Tavener, who was so sadly taken from us at the end of 2013, just before what would have been his seventieth birthday. In celebration of that notable connection, the choir present an evening dedicated to his music. The programme features some of his most beautiful choral writing, alongside great works from another master from an earlier age, John Taverner.
