Motion is very proud to present ‘An evening with..’ A series of events which will feature a film or performance from an established figure followed by a talk with a Q&A. It will be a rare intimate and informal insight into a highly regarded profession.

The award winning screenwriter and director Tony Grisoni will be giving a talk alongside an exclusive screening of the critically acclaimed ‘In this World’ written by Grisoni and directed by Michael Winterbottom. Motion has moved to the opposite ends of the scale to provide a very special event which will explore the extraordinary works of Grisoni’s and Winterbottoms compelling and captivating documentary that follows two Afghan teenagers as they escape from the Shashatoo refugee camp in Pakistan, along the smugglers’ route known as The Silk Road as they embark on a dangerous journey in search for freedom.

Doors will open at 7pm with welcome refreshments and music followed by a screening of the film introduced by Grisoni. There will be refreshments available throughout the film including drinks from the Motion bar, cups of tea, cakes and more. The film will be followed by a special Q&A session where everyone is welcome to discuss topics with Grisoni.
