Japandroids
Vancouver two-piece, Japandroids set tongues wagging in North America with their explosive and exciting live shows. Like a half-way house between The Sonics and Mclusky, Japandroids fuse together lo-fi production with punk's spittle-flecked velocity. What marks the band out from other guitar/drums duos is their rip-roaring melodies are never compromised by the band's visceral energy and lo-fi production.

Cadence Weapon
Rollie Pemberton aka Cadence Weapon is a 21 year old from Canada. He draws heavily on house music as well as hip hop, with a big, tough sound that has as much in common with Basement Jaxx as with the Def Jux stable. Already an acclaimed talent in NA, so much so the Klaxons recently invited him to rap on stage with them and his remix resume now includes Lady Sovereign, Disco D, Busdriver and Kid Sister.
