Bristol Choral Society's Colston Hall Messiah unwraps Handel's masterpiece with the immediacy of a performance sung from memory, and accompanied by the stylish period instruments of Music for Awhile.
Bristol Choral Society
Large auditioned choir (conductor Adrian Partington) staging top quality concerts in Bristol at the Colston Hall and Bristol Cathedral. Typical season includes at least three large-scale concerts per year with orchestras (such as Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra) at the Colston Hall, plus a fourth at Bristol Cathedral as well as other events in and around Bristol. Presidents: Mark Padmore and the Lord Mayor of Bristol.
