Bruce/Ilett Big Band, The Zen Hussies, Lucy Moon and The Paper Moon Band

One of the city’s most colourful and spectacular events this NYE will be the Colston Hall Swing Dance Party. The magnificent multi-levelled foyer will be brought to life with show stopping circus acts, fascinating performers and fun interactive games. Rock n Roll DJs will also be on hand to keep things swinging throughout the building. The main hall will be transformed into a 1940s style ballroom where the Bruce/Ilett Big Band will be recreating the golden era of swing playing an infectious mix of jazz and blues late into the night with guest turns from The Zen Hussies and Lucy Moon and the Paper Moon Band.

This year we’re also looking forward to introducing the Maison Paradiso Lounge. The Maison Paradiso team create innovative events in beautiful spaces and on NYE they will be transforming the historic Lantern into a decadent cocktail lounge and party. The immersive entertainment will provide a host of delights and a few surprises. The mighty Bedmo Disco DJ’s will also be on hand to rock the dance floor with funk, soul and disco classics, and a few of your favourite guilty pleasures in there for good measure, not to mention a host of cocktails will be created for your delectation by some of Bristol’s finest mixologists.

Colston Hall’s NYE Swing Dance Party will be a fabulous way to celebrate NYE in a stylish, spacious and relaxed environment and get away from the usual NYE hustle and bustle.
