Paolo Nutini, famous for hits such as New Shoes and 10/10, is heading to Bristol this summer to perform an open-air gig at the city's amphitheatre.

The special Harbourside concert will be on Wednesday, June 25th, just days before he heads off to perform at Glastonbury.

Crowds of around 5,000 are expected to pack the amphitheatre to watch the open-air gig.

Paolo, whose new album, Caustic Love, is due out later this month, will be following in the footsteps of bands including Massive Attack, Basement Jaxx and Groove Armada who performed in front of crowds of thousands at the outdoor amphitheatre in the summer of 2004.
