Understanding Negative Dialectics
Felix Gemlin's performance presents a continuous reading of a text that Gmelin's father wrote in 1968. Initially presented as a video work with Gmelin's own son, then 10 year old, the new performance will re-enact the reading with a group of young people and touch on questions of understanding and the failure - and hope - of history.
