I Wish No Man Would Claim Me

Following their very successful Album Launch in December, The Honeyfire join Camden/Cambridge folk singer/songwriter Zoë Wren, Bristol/Oxford based jazz pianist/songwriter Ed Wren, plus some special guests, for a music and multimedia event at the Arnolfini Dark Studio on Bristol Harbourside.

This is the first of at least three linked events to be staged in 2015, which will explore the myth of Orpheus and Eurydice (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Orpheus_and_Eurydice), and how it relates to 21st Century 'gender stereotypes' (male *and* female!), modern slavery, oppression, abuse and hate crime. The title of the first event is 'I wish no man would claim me', which is a line from The Honeyfire's new song, 'Falling for Orpheus', to be released as a single in April.

A limited number of tickets available from the venue.
