Karima Francis is a Blackpool born singer-songwriter, currently based in Manchester. She was named by The Observer as the number 1 act to watch in 2009 and appeared on 'Later With Jools Holland'. After performing at In The City in Manchester, she was signed by the independent record company Kitchenware Records and in 2011 she signed with Vertigo Records, a division of Mercury Music Group.
