The Lieutenant of Inishmore

Set in 1993 on the island of Inishmore, County Galway, Ireland, when the Northern ­Ireland peace process is taking its faltering first steps. INLA man and notoriously unstable one-man terrorist group Mad Padraic hears the news that his beloved cat, Wee Thomas, is poorly and heads straight back to the island he calls home. But when he ­arrives at the family home things are about to get very complicated indeed for the self-styled Lieutenant of Inishmore.
