The Cory Band
Bratton Silver Band have been presenting 'Best of British Brass' concerts since 1995. Each concert by the Cory Band, ever since their first here a decade ago, has been an almost instant sell-out, with fantastic feedback from capacity crowds! Now to celebrate this special 10 year friendship (and over 150 years of music-making).
Bratton Silver Band are proud to present another joint concert with this Outstanding, internationally recognised Brass Band. Both bands will perform individually before a massed Brass Band performance brings this very special occasion to its rousing conclusion!
The Cory Band
From the Rhondda Valley in South Wales, The Cory Band were European Brass Band Champions in 2008, then successfully defended their title to become Champions again in 2009, adding to their success by also winning the 2009 British Open Championship at Birmingham's Symphony Hall. They have a rich history dating back to 1884 when it was first formed as Ton Temperance and continues to be a highly successful band performing at many of the worlds finest venues.
