Musica Alhambra: Juan Martin
A celebrated Flamenco virtuoso, Juan Martín has been voted one of the top three guitarists in the world. A native of Andalucía, he has recorded 20 albums and, in this concert, explores the roots of flamenco in Moorish and Indian gypsy music plus five Sephardic songs. Widely regarded as amongst his best work and issued on CD, 'Musica Alhambra' has also attracted critical acclaim in the Middle East. Highly charged, this thrilling alchemy of the traditional and modern, mixed with seductive, fiery and passionate performances guarantees a breathtaking evening of contemporary flamenco.
Juan Martin
