The world of hard rock is still largely dominated by men, but Pennsylvania's Halestorm break the mould thanks to dynamic female lead singer Lzzy Hale. Drawing from influences as diverse as Pat Benatar, Janis Joplin, Cinderella and Metallica, Lzzy has a dark sensuality that's undeniable. Blending sexy guitar riffs and licks with classic rock melodies, their eponymous 2010 album on Atlantic Records is an infectious journey of love, lust, rock and roll.
