James and the Giant Peach: The Birmingham Stage Company
Roald Dahl's classic book tells the story of James, a lonely young boy who lives with Aunt Sponge and Aunt Spiker, two of the most revolting Aunts in England. They make him work and slave and never let him play with other children.
Then one day he meets a mystical old man who gives him a bag that contains the strongest magic the world has ever known.
When James accidentally spills the bag near an old peach tree, the most incredible things start to happen - and James's adventure has just begun!
The Birmingham Stage Company
The Birmingham Stage Company is the resident company of The Old Rep Theatre. The BSC produces classic, contemporary, new plays and childrens' work. The company's patron is Sir Derek Jacobi, who plays an active part in the life of the company.
