Homer's island-hopping adventures are retold here as you've never seen them before, with a combination of cut-out illustrations and live music.
Over the past ten years The Paper Cinema have developed their own ingenious and deceptively simple approach to storytelling, a combination of puppetry and live animation with a video camera onstage to immerse you in the action. Boasting a joyous score by a three-piece band, The Paper Cinema's Odyssey is their most ambitious show yet; a picaresque encounter with various gods and monsters which comes fresh to Birmingham from a globetrotting tour.
Presented in association with Flatpack Film Festival, which runs in venues across Birmingham from 19 to 29 March.
