This two day annual event prides itself on bringing the skills of yesteryear alive with working demonstrations and traditional crafts and farming methods, with the modern day delicious food hall, children’s amusements and exciting area events which this year will include Monster trucks, the Royal British Legion and demonstrations by Imperial birds of prey.

What was once an Essex farming family's informal gathering of half a dozen steam engines is now the largest event of its type in the South East, with an average of 35,000 visitors for the last 5 years.

The show, with an emphasis on agricultural history and rural crafts, is now in its 26th year.

Whether it's the size and power of the steam engines - which you can steer yourself - helicopter rides, specialist food hall, children's amusements, arena events or the huge variety of over 200 craft and trade stands, the show caters for the whole family.
