'He Aint Heavy, But He's Ginger.' Winner of the Best Newcomer at the BBM Music Awards 2001 and longstanding resident at Belfast's Shine. Always keen to avoid chin-stroking blokery, Phil's DJ sets are a chunky blend of techno, electro and breaks. It's all throbbing basslines, jagged synths, cut up and in your face. Sometimes dark, sometimes funky, always aimed at the dancefloor.
