Belfast One Act Play Festival: The End Of The Beginning: Theatre 3
A farcical comedy that speaks about the destruction of a home. A long time ago, in Ireland, a husband and his wife exchange roles for one day to decide who's the unhappy: the man with his farmwork or the woman with her housework? Lizzie goes to work in the field, while her lazy husband Darry, accompanied by Barry the Ninny, end up destroying the house they should have taken care of. The disaster they create reminds us of the great classics Laurel and Hardy. An outstanding farce that hovers between the absurd and the sublime.
