Editors
This Birmingham-based quartet have enjoyed a rapid rise to success since they met at college in Staffordshire in 2003. Influenced by iconic bands such as Joy Division and Echo and the Bunnymen, their 2005 debut album reached no. 2 in the UK, thanks in part to an unrelenting tour schedule. The continued increase in the popularity of their live shows in 2006, along with a top ten single show that the band have the potential to become one of the 'big names' of the decade.
Editors tour dates
Ocean Colour Scene
Nineties indie pop band whose sixties retro sound coupled with their obvious individual talents and collective knack of reaching the heart and soul of the nation's music buying public has certainly paid off.
Ocean Colour Scene tour dates
Saw Doctors
Hell-bent on celebrating, observing, recording and sometimes poking fun at their own locality, accent and idiomatic use of language whilst dressing their songs up in their favourite sounds and styles from their years of musical fandom, The Saw Doctors are a classic electric/folk/rock outfit from Tuam. Catch these guys live, and you'll understand why they have taken most of the world by storm.
Saw Doctors tour dates
Shed Seven
Nineties Brit-Pop group Shed Seven who, fronted by the unmistakable vocals of Rick Witter, brought us hits such as Going For Gold, Chasing Rainbows and Getting Better. Since forming in 1990 the band released four albums, and achieved 14 Top 40 singles.
Shed Seven tour dates
British Sea Power
British Sea Power are Yan, Noble Hamilton, Woody and Eamon. The band began life in Cumbria, 2001, and after a few relocations gained an enormous reputation in Brighton and then Europe, as tour supports to such greats as Interpol and The Flaming Lips. By the end of 2004, they were known worldwide, receiving acclaim as 'the best band in Britain' (Sunday Times) and attaining the Time Out award for Live Band Of The Year. It's quite remarkable that in this short time, BSP have established themselves as one of Britain's most noteworthy bands.
British Sea Power tour dates
Seth Lakeman
'The musical equivalent of the bodice-ripping blockbuster' - The Guardian. Seth's live show, as with everything else he does, takes the established folk orthodoxy and turns it on its head. The spirit of the rock band meets the timeless and heartfelt subject matter of the folk tale in a blur of fiddle, acoustic guitar and foot-stomping rhythms, with Seth's unmistakable vocals riding the wave.
Seth Lakeman tour dates

Edward II

Edward II tour dates
The Wallbirds
'Lying at the Side of You' is the return single, arguably the debut in their current form. It's a huge rock track with a massive pop hook, an erratically excitable racket of garrulous guitars and brusque vocals which fearlessly crowd each other while keeping respectable distance from the tracks anxious melody. Now performing with a full band behind them, and with guest appearances on the forthcoming album from gospel choirs, legendary session musicians and Mercury Prize nominees, The Wallbirds are a sign of what's to come from great British music. One of the most ingenious, creative and exciting new bands about to break.
The Wallbirds tour dates
Kid Carpet
He's a one-man electronic band, playing broken-hearted modern music, with wit and style (and a few props). He recently appeared on the new ITV music show 'Earshot', playing a one-day tour of London. That's right, multiple shows in one town on the same day!
Live he plays an electro-pop cover of Van Halen's 'Jump' that features voice samples from Ivor Cutler. And his single 'Sh*t Dope' samples the '80s Children's TV programme Choc-a-bloc. Expect dodgy samples, carboot sale keyboards, kids toys, plastic guitar solos, dodgy singing, pathos aplenty and sellotape.
