Jesus Christ Superstar

'Jesus Christ Superstar' is the epic retelling of the last seven days in the life of Jesus of Nazareth, from just before Palm Sunday to Good Friday, as seen through the eyes of Judas Iscariot. It includes musical numbers such as 'Gethsemane', 'Superstar' and 'I don't know how to love him'.

The show opened in 1971 in New York and was the first musical by Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber to be produced on the professional stage. Since then it has been performed around the world and has recently been performed professionally throughout the country prior to being release for amateur societies.
