Yuma Osaki was born in Japan and graduated from the Conservatoire Superieure de Musique de Paris. She has been a prizewinner at several international piano competitions, including fifth prize at the Rubenstien Master Pianist Competition in Tel Aviv in 2001, 3rd prize at Leeds Piano Competition in 2003 and the Finals of the Chopin Competition in Warsaw also in 2003.
