Study Session: The Painted Page, Illuminated Manuscripts

Waddesdon has a superb collection of illuminated manuscripts which are rarely displayed due to their fragility. Manuscript specialist Sally Dormer explores these sumptuous objects looking at how and for whom they were made in Flanders and France, and the supreme skill of those who made them. The day will include an unrivalled opportunity to examine the
manuscripts at close quarters.
